Thonock Hall
Thonock Hall, which was unfortunately demolished in 1964 due to severe dry rot and woodworm.
18th Hole Opening Ceremony
The opening of the new 18-hole golf course in June 1947.
Sir Hickman Beckett Bacon
Sir Hickman Beckett Bacon was the last full time resident of Thonock Hall and the first president of the golf club in 1894. The Thonock Estate had been passed down for generations since around the 18th century.
